Our client, a leader in the distribution industry, is seeking a Diesel Technician to join their team. As a Diesel Technician, you will be part of the technical support team, ensuring the efficient operation of engine products. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively, which will align successfully with the organization.
Job Title: Diesel Technician
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Range: $23.85 - $42.50 per hour, commensurate with experience
Shift: Mon-Fri 7am-4pm, with atleast 5 hours of OT
What's the Job?
Complete repairs on engine products in a service shop.
Perform maintenance and repairs utilizing diagnostic tools.
Maintain detailed records of serviced vehicles.
Adhere to health, safety, and environmental policies.
Engage in ongoing development and certifications on new and existing products.
What's Needed?
Advanced level of workshop experience required.
Advanced knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution preferred.
Ability to troubleshoot with limited/no support from diagnostic tools.
5 years of experience with internal engine repairs and overhaul experience is essential.
