Our client, a leader in the power generation industry, is seeking an Electrical Engineer II to join their team. As an Electrical Engineer II, you will be part of the engineering department supporting the maintenance and repair of industrial generators. The ideal candidate will have strong mechanical and electrical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to safety, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Electrical Engineer II
Location: Memphis, TN
Pay Range: $55,200 - $82,800 with a $5K sign-on bonus
What's the Job?
Complete preventative maintenance and basic repair activities on generators at customer sites with minimal direction.
Engage with customers in a courteous and professional manner.
Utilize specialized tools and follow documented procedures to diagnose and complete repairs.
Prepare required parts and tools for service tasks.
Document service activities, including service worksheets and warranty claims.
What's Needed?
A minimum of 8 years of experience with industrial diesel engines.
Experience with high voltage and low voltage electrical systems.
Hands-on exposure to power generation products.
Vocational diploma from a relevant technical institution or equivalent experience.
Current relevant electrical certification and a valid driving permit.
