Organizational Design and Effectiveness Director
Location: This position will work a hybrid model (remote and office). Must reside within 50 miles/1 hour commute of the posted Elevance Health locations.
The Organizational Design and Effectiveness Director is responsible for designing and executing organization design and effectiveness programs/initiatives as part of an enterprise Center of Excellence.
This Director will lead enterprise-wide capability building initiatives to upskill HR and Business Stakeholders in Organizational Design and Development as well as executing key Organization Design & Effectiveness projects within the business units.
How you will make an impact:
Leads and manages programs to build Organization Design & Effectiveness capability on behalf of Elevance Health. (Workshops, Community of Practice, Advanced Learning Paths, Advisory Groups, etc.)
Creates knowledge repository solutions for Organization Design & Effectiveness internal and external assets to ensure usage and engagement across the enterprise.
Leads and/or participates in cross-functional teams to: diagnose organization effectiveness issues, collect, and analyze qualitative and quantitative data as part of that analysis, generate human capital recommendations to address performance gaps and build required capability, and craft high-impact implementation plans.
Creates and deploys change/engagement strategies at all organizational levels to increase adoption and proficiency in Organization Design and Effectiveness.
Partners with senior leadership to activate an organizational strategy, including structure and process, to align with the newly defined organizational designs.
Understands business strategy of business units and helps them align and execute on future organization models, including matrix structures.
Provides organizational effectiveness consultation to business leaders across the enterprise to help facilitate optimal team and departmental performance.
Designs organizational structures and operating models in line with the business strategy.
Leverages data and analytics to provide insights into organizational effectiveness and measure growth in organizational capability. (dashboards, portfolio tracking, etc.)
Minimum Qualifications:
- Requires a BA/BS in Organization Development, Management, HR Development or related field; 8-10 years of experience in organizational development/effectiveness execution, process improvement and/or project management experience; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background.
Preferred Qualifications:
Advanced degree preferred.
Previous experience working in a Center of Excellence.
Strong strategic and operational OD&E experience preferred.
Healthcare experience preferred.
Experience creating and implementing OD/OE strategies for an enterprise working with senior level executives as needed.
Experience developing learning and/or development programs.
Experience influencing teams and executing projects in a large, matrix organization.
For candidates working in person or remotely in the below locations, the salary* range for this specific position is $125,160 to $196,680.
