JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary/Overview The Plant Manager provides senior
leadership at plant level and creates a positive environment for all
associates. This leader drives customer service excellence,
best-in-class quality, and high operating efficiency with outstanding
manufacturing agility through lean and continuous improvement. Essential
Duties and Responsibilities Plans, implements and oversees manufacturing
plant organization policies and goals. Leverage KPI\'s and action plans
to ensure effective daily management of operations inclusive of
materials, quality, machining, assembly, shipping/receiving. Coordinate
activities of departments such as manufacturing, engineering, production
control, materials management, quality, service, and maintenance to
ensure customer service excellence, high quality, cost control, and
operational efficiency. Drive transformational change throughout the
plant in coordination with business unit strategies and plans. Work with
the plant management team to continuously improve manufacturing and
other plant processes through Lean, Six-Sigma, and other similar metric
driven methods. Provide leadership and guidance to coach, motivate, and
lead team members to their optimum performance levels and career
development. Manage morale and turnover through building an
understanding of what motivates your team members. Communicate the
vision from senior leadership and set and communicate business
objectives for your team that align with this vision. Manage the
day-to-day activities and motivate team members to succeed in a
fast-paced collaborative agile environment. Guide and support plant
resources in capital investments, material management, and labor &
overhead productivity plans. Confers with administrative personnel and
reviews business activity including related operating and sales reports
to ensure customer service excellence, quality, and operational
efficiency. Works directly with the General Manager to manage the
business division\'s P&L to ensure meeting the company\'s profitability
and growth targets. Works directly with local Human Resources on all
employee relations items, employee recruiting, onboarding, discipline
and terminations in a professional manner. Knowledge, Skills,
Competencies, and Abilities Demonstrated expertise in adding value
through leadership by building strong high performing teams and
achieving successful outcomes on complicated programs. Acts
independently or as a member of a project team responsible for providing
technical process guidance concerning the business implications of the
application of various systems. Demonstrated success in a high mix ETO
manufacturing environment of products with complex BOM structure. A team
player with excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong
