Job Summary The Quality Lead position is the key contact for business data analytics and providing support and guidance to functional areas related to quality. Demonstrates specialized depth and / or breadth of expertise in the uniform application of engineering cosmetic standards and guides and influences manufacturing organization. Job Responsibilities Collect data and perform operational analysis on manufacturing processes to correlate to product design and functional specifications. Evaluate weekly warranty data to establish countermeasures for Emerging and Top Issues quality concerns. Evaluate manufacturing Quality Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for the facility; First Pass Yield (FPY), Scrap, and Conditions per Hundred (CPH). Taking a lead role in troubleshooting, problem solving, failure analysis, root cause, and corrective action processes as related to process non-conformances and continuous improvement. Facilitate improvement activities using established problem-solving methods (CAR, PPS, Red X, QMR, DOE). Maintain a presence on the shop floor for effective communication with process owners. Effectively communicates complex information regarding quality performance to manufacturing front line personnel and staff stakeholders.
