Service Advisor

As a Service Advisor you will serve as the first line in Customer Relations by scheduling service work and maintaining open lines of communication with the Customer while their vehicle is in our care. Listening carefully to their needs and concerns will build confidence with that Customer ensuring they will continue to entrust us with the care of their vehicle.
Duties will include:• Promptly meet and greet service customers in a friendly, welcoming and courteous manner• Scheduling service work• Explain and implement repair options• Coordinate activities to ensure repair work in fixed during the first visit and in a timely manner• Identify ways to improve Customer Service and Service Operations• Provide accurate estimates for all services and repair recommended• Offer diagnostic services or repairs to satisfy customer's concerns• Handle minor customer complaints with courteous, nurturing and tactful manner• Follow up with Customers regarding upcoming service. • Attend managers' meetings as requested• Meet with Dealer/Fixed Operations Manager at lease once a month to review current Service Department Performance• Maintain reporting systems required by General Management and Mercedes-Benz• Maintain up-to-date Comeback Log, Technician Production and Efficiency Log.

We are looking for someone with:
• Three years of experience in an auto repair facility• High school diploma or equivalent• Excellent communication and collaboration skills• Proficient knowledge of dealership computer systems• Must have valid in-state driver's license and have/maintain an acceptable, safe driving record and habits in order to drive customer and demonstration vehicles• Must be insurable
