Key Responsibilities/ Job Description: *Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance on plant equipment, building structure, and mechanical systems to ensure optimal performance and avoid breakdowns  *Diagnose mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and carpentry issues and perform necessary repairs on machinery, equipment, and buildings. * Assist in the installation of new machinery, including electrical wiring, piping, and other necessary components.

• Identify and troubleshoot issues with machinery and equipment, determining the most effective solutions to maintain operational efficiency.

*Ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety regulations and company policies. Promote a safe working environment by following proper safety protocols.

*Respond to emergency maintenance requests in a timely manner to minimize downtime and ensure production continuity.

Work Experience

1. Required minimum of 4 years of experience in plant maintenance or a similar role within a manufacturing environment.
2. Proficiency with hand and power tools
3. Able to safely operate a forklift.
4. Experience with electrical and mechanical troubleshooting
5. Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, work orders and automated systems
6. Knowledge of motors and motor control methods
7. Reliable and punctual with an attention to detail.

8. Working computer knowledge, specifically with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word, SharePoint)

    

Physical Demands:

• The ability to routinely lift and move up to 60 pounds is required.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical labor for extended periods
• Ability to work in various environments, including exposure to noise, dust, and varying temperatures
