Job Description
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with local accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia, using your expertise to guide our practices.
Lead meetings with team members and external consultants to align strategies, discuss financial matters, and provide updates on accounting issues.
Collaborate with various departments to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting through effective communication.
Contribute to account reconciliations and prepare technical reports, ensuring accuracy and adherence to accounting principles.
Prepare, analyze, and present financial statements that accurately reflect the company's financial position.
Complete monthly closings, ensuring accurate and timely recording of all financial transactions.
Support external and internal audits by providing necessary documentation and addressing audit-related inquiries.
Stay updated with changes in accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia, assessing their impact on the organization.
Serve as a key point of contact for accounting issues in the North Latam Region.
Work effectively in multifunctional teams to run, plan, monitor, and deliver finance projects on time.

Requirements:
Proficiency in Spanish and English; Portuguese is a plus.
Bachelor's degree in Accounting
At least 5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
Strong knowledge of accounting and tax regulations in Mexico and Colombia.
Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Consistent track record in running financial reporting and compliance.
Ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
