We are seeking a Histologist to join their growing team on 2 nd shift!
Location: Miami, FL 33136
Type of Job: 3-month assignment
Schedule: 2 nd shift (M-F 3pm-11:30pm)
Pay: $32.51/hr
Responsibilities:
Embeds cuts stains and performs other tasks required to process tissue in the Immunohistochemistry laboratory.
Performs accurate gross description on tissue samples.
Perform quality control procedures established for each method and maintains accurate records.
Operates all instruments/ equipment according to accepted written procedures and recognizes and identifies instrument/ equipment problems.
Meets acceptable turnaround time and productivity standards for the section.
Record transcribe and maintain records of patient test results according to protocol.
Assist other personnel with identifying and analyzing inconsistent and abnormal results.
Complete routine and STAT testing within acceptable turn-around time guidelines
Qualifications
Florida state histology license REQUIRED. - State Licensure where applicable CA FL NY require licensing Meets CLIA personnel standard criteria.
2 years minimum of experience with microtomy and cutting.
