Boeing IT & DA (Information Technology and Data Analytics) is looking for Senior IT Project Manager for the BDSI SAP Program based out of Miami, Florida to join the ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) SAP PMO (Program Management Office) within the Supply Chain Systems, IT&DA Organization.

The ideal candidate will have a sharp business mind and a proven ability to strategize and implement large complex ERP implementation programs in the Supply Chain Domain. As an experienced leader, you will have a strong talent for project planning, execution, collaboration and delegation. Ultimately, you are motivated by the desire to optimize productivity and drive program success from inception to completion. A successful candidate will understand the importance of coordination & collaboration as these positions will focus on working directly with the implementation teams consisting of Boeing and System Integration partners while partnering with the Senior Leaders within Boeing to implement critical ERP programs and help the company achieve their strategic objectives.

This position allows telecommuting. The selected candidate will be required to perform some work onsite at one of the listed location options (Miami, FL, USA)

Travel requirement - Travel is approximately 50% of time if not located in Miami, FL. If candidate is not located in Miami, FL, candidate will be required to be onsite two weeks a month (1 week on, 1 week off).

Position Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute activities related to end-to-end project management, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment

  • Develop and execute cutover activities, including project plans and estimates, scoping and requirements through implementation and deployment. Provide Cutover status reporting to project leadership and key stakeholders

  • Schedule regression testing of shared environments liaise with support teams to ensure appropriate change requests/procedures are followed

  • Identify risks and build/test mitigation plans related to the Cutover plan

  • Develop the business risk mitigation, blackout & recovery, and the detailed Cutover strategy, approach, & plan for the program. Serve as escalation point during the entire cutover period

  • Evaluate, and overcome solution delivery risks, and produce execution reports for management and stakeholders

  • Analyze stakeholder commitments with a broad, high-level view—leaving day-to-day project activities to the project managers.

  • Primary responsibility is to ensure that all of planned deliverables are efficiently and effectively working towards the intended objectives. You’re also responsible for making sure that we are delivering with focus on the best return on investment (ROI)

  • Work closely with project sponsor, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives

  • Identify key deliverables needed from supply chain teams, cross-functional teams and external vendors.

  • Manage, coordinate and delegate cross-project initiatives and influence for prioritization as needed

  • Develop and manage scope & budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives

  • Work to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the domain and cross domain for flagship programs

  • Exercises critical thinking and innovative problem solving

  • The position doesn’t have any direct reports and the role is expected to deliver in individual capacity

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills and Experience):

  • A Bachelor degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Information Systems, or closely related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5+ years’ of leadership experience in Program Management on a large program effort

  • 5+ years of experience in Supply Chain Sourcing, Supplier Management, and Supply Chain Planning

  • Experience using or applying metrics to measure performance against projects to ensure high quality delivery

Preferred Qualifications/Desired Skills (Desired Skills/Experience) :

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification

  • Master’s degree in Information Systems / Information Technology, or MBA in Technology Management, Operations Management, or Supply Chain / Logistics

  • 3+ years of experience as a program manager with large, complex ERP implementations

  • Experience in program governance and gated processes

  • Knowledge and Expertise in Program Management Best Practices

  • Expertise in project management tools

  • Exceptional leadership, time management, facilitation, and organizational skills

Typical Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree and typically 15 or more years’ related work experience, a Master’s degree and typically 13 or more years’ related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Relocation: This position does not offer relocation. Candidates must live in the immediate area or relocate at their own expense.

Shift: This position is for 1st Shift.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are based upon candidate experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations.

Salary Range: $140,250- $203,550
