Responsibilities If selected for this position, you will join a well-respected team that is responsible for Facilities and Property Unit of the Administrative Division. Typical work assignments will include: -Provides supervision to administrative support personnel and assistant administrative support personnel -Directs the daily workflow and establishes priorities and work assignments for subordinate personnel. -Develops and executes policies and procedures for a centralized operation designed to provide maximum efficiency in the areas of space utilization facilities and property management; inventory management, and other office services (i.e., mail, secure packaging, printing/reproduction, etc.). -Provides advisory services to management on specific programs to resolve complex problems. -Performs demand analysis and design requirements, captures, and analyzes pertinent data, reviews services for compliance to specific guidelines, and evaluates processes with statistical and graphical analysis tools and techniques. -Prepares written analyses, based on research in response to matters of concern to the United States Attorney and other appropriate members of the senior management staff. -Provides administrative and clerical support services and analytical and advisory services Responsibilities will increase and assignments will become more complex as your training and experience progress. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications To be found eligible at the GS-13 level, you must have at least one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-12 level. Specialized experience is defined as planning, directing, coordinating, and executing the operation of support service programs. Develops and executes policies and procedures for a centralized operation designed to provide maximum efficiency in the areas of space utilization; facilities and property management; inventory management, and other office services (i.e., mail, secure packaging, printing/reproduction, etc.). Provides advisory services to management on specific programs to resolve complex problems. Performs demand analysis and design requirements, captures, and analyzes pertinent data, reviews services for compliance to specific guidelines, and evaluates processes with statistical and graphical analysis tools and techniques. Prepares written analyses, based on research in response to matters of concern to the United States Attorney and other appropriate members of the senior management staff. Provides administrative and clerical support services and analytical and advisory services. Condition of Employment: You will be required to work outside of normal duty hours for emergency situations should the need arise, i.e., natural disaster (hurricane), power outages, etc. Career Transition Assistance Plan (CTAP)-The CTAP provides eligible surplus and displaced competitive service employees in the Department of Justice with selection priority over other candidates for competitive service vacancies.
