Job Description: Data Programmer and Data Processor - Onsite in
Middleboro, MA Reports to: Director, IT Description: This person works
in a fast-paced environment that requires flexibility and efficiency
while maintaining accuracy. Employee areas of strength that are
essential for success in this position include SQL programming,
Microsoft Access, ability to perform root-cause analysis, process
improvement, attention to detail, quality assurance,
business/client/industry knowledge, and being a good communicator. This
position supports the day-to-day operations of the office
infrastructure, is responsible for data management, and assist users
with their technical issues. In addition, you will provide onsite and
remote support for employees and management. You are responsible for
troubleshooting, identifying the root cause of data issues, and using
best practices to ensure the highest level of security exists. Essential
Functions: Operating in a SQL environment that also uses Microsoft
Access to manage data. Manage the receipt and processing of data files
received from clients and assigned vendors, including, but not limited
to, new business, transaction, recall, and reconciliation. Ensure
assigned client files are received, logged, and processed accurately.
Analyze data file logs/tracking sheet to determine if files are missing
or duplicated through trend analysis. Quality check data within the
files to ensure data integrity and accuracy of placement into correct
data fields within Debtmaster. Quality check total # of records in each
file against the total # of records loaded into Debtmaster to ensure
all data is loaded. Manage the day-to-day letter requests. QC and adjust
data as needed, working directly with the letter vendor (RevSpring) to
ensure timeliness and accuracy of letters. Create and send ERA files,
miscellaneous reports, and other documents as assigned or requested by
management personnel. Create new import models as needed. Assist in
supporting the infrastructure at the direction of the Director of IT.
Provide support to Clients including setting up new client SFTPs,
credentials, training, etc. Provide support to onsite and remote staff
including new employee setups, terminations, password resets, hardware
and software issues, and muti-factor authentication resets. Provides
guidance to end-users to ensure they conform to company IT security and
other policies. Ensure compliance with security requirements. Continue
education in IT and Data Security to keep abreast of the latest
technologies and security threats. Document deliverables, work processes
and assigned tasks. Other general duties as assigned. Qualifications:
SQL programming Critical thinker with an analytical mindset and
problem-solving aptitude. Able to identify areas of deficiency, perform
root-cause analysis, and make process improvements. Capable of
multi-tasking and working in a deadline driven environment. Excellent
organizational skills and the ability to prioritize. Ability to
implement high-level quality controls to ensure accuracy. Computer
literate and capable of working on multiple computer systems including
Debtmaster and other client systems that may include Epic, Athena,
NextGen, Brightree, etc. Proficient in Microsoft Office Access, Word,
Excel, Visio. Effective communication skills, keeping management up to
date on delays, missed files, errors, abnormalities, workload issues,
etc. A minimum of 3 years\' experience in IT and/or an associate or
bachelor\'s degree in information technology or related certifications.
