user.Job Summary The Manager of Distribution is responsible for
providing leadership, strategic planning, distribution expertise,
coaching/developing skills, and the management of strategic
relationships to ensure delivery of best-in-class service, cost, and
quality. The Manager of Distribution will monitor and coordinate with
our third-party suppliers daily to ensure the expectations of Spectrum
Brands and our customers are being met. The Manager of Distribution will
display leadership, cooperation, and a continuous commitment to
operational and financial improvements. This role is also the
relationship holder for several factory service providers across the
product portfolio. Multi-site responsibility, owning all aspects of
distribution operations.Primary Duties & Responsibilities Negotiate and
implement effective 3PL distribution and transportation contracts.
Enable a multimodal distribution network designed to fulfill all
customer and consumer demands. Develop and approve budgeting while
providing oversight control of distribution costs. Create and implement
long-term strategic plans for the distribution function to ensure
continued customer service program development and logistics
requirements for future needs in domestic and international markets.
Provide leadership development and resource support for the team.
Maintain and produce monthly KPI reports for cost, quality, service, and
