JOB REQUIREMENTS: RN - Outpatient Clinical Documentation Specialist
Nurse - 34398 Work Schedule : 100% FTE. This is a salaried paid
position. Monday through Friday. Hours are based off the operational
needs of the department. You will work at the UW Health Administrative

Advise clinicians regarding complete and accurate Outpatient /Clinic
documentation including accurate HCC capture. * Function as a liaison
between clinicians and coders. * Work as an expert source for
information regarding the impact of documentation on patient care,
quality outcomes measures, HCC risk adjustment, and to ensure correct
reimbursement. * Conduct pre and post visit reviews of
outpatient/clinic medical records-seeking clarification of
documentation. (I think the first part is understood and I would have

EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Qualifications * Associate\'s Degree in
Nursing Required * Bachelor\'s Degree in Nursing Preferred Work
Experience * 3 years of nursing, case management, utilization review or
quality resources experience in an acute care or ambulatory setting
Required * 3 years of Clinical Documentation Integrity experience
highly desirable Preferred * 5 years of nursing, case management,
utilization review, or quality resources experience in an acute care
setting Preferred Licenses & Certifications * Registration as a
professional nurse in the State of Wisconsin Upon Hire Required *
Certified Clinical Documentation Specialist Preferred *****
