JOB REQUIREMENTS: The Senior IT Business Developer is responsible for the following duties: Develop and maintain IBM i applications using RPG, RPGILE, SQLRPGLE, CLP, .NET, XML, C#, PHP, Java, JavaScript, Web technologies and DB2 based on the business requirements and designs. Work with business users to collect and document requirements and use the requirements to design, configure and test projects related to ERP and business applications to ensure an optimal solution. Develop functional and technical specifications/designs. Troubleshoot issues, meet with business users regularly to verify solutions and train users on results. Work closely with the business analyst and development team to make sure the software is built as per the specifications and meets business needs, and work with the Quality assurance team to make sure the defects and issues are addressed in timely manner for successful software release into Production. Provide and support the implementation of business solutions by building relationships and partnerships with key stakeholders, identifying business needs, determining, and carrying out necessary processes and practices, monitoring progress and results, recognizing, and capitalizing on improvement opportunities, and adapting to competing demands, organizational changes, and new responsibilities. Write functional specifications for development. Perform unit and integration testing for configuration and end to end business processes. Work with business partners throughout the process to ensure solutions meet business requirements. Perform unit and integration testing, resolve production problems, develop and deploy emergency fixes for the applications developed on the IBM i and web platform.
