Duties and Responsibilities: Repair and maintenance on midsize equipment, including aerial lifts, forklifts, telehandlers, generators, welders, air compressors, pumps, message boards and arrow boards. Education and Experience: Associates Degree in diesel technology, heavy equipment mechanics, small engine repair, or related field, or equivalent experience Valid driver's license required Welding, hydraulic, and electrical experience preferred Skills and Abilities: Possess mechanical skills and be familiar with parts and components of complex machinery and engines, as well as the tools to fix them. Possess technical skills and be familiar with electronics Ability to read blueprints, or use electronic diagnostic equipment to troubleshoot repairs Knowledge of electrical systems, hydraulics, fuel and brake lines Possess troubleshooting skills - ability to look at mechanical, hydraulic and electrical systems, identify problems, and think about possible solutions.
