Responsible for designing and implementing benefit administration of new and renewal sales. Ensures paperwork submissions are reviewed and clarified prior to the submission to the benefit configuration areas.
Primary duties may include, but are not limited to:
Consults with Sales department for highly complex new/renewal sales and changes on benefits.
Identifies complex benefit needs and leads the benefit definition process with clients.
Partners with Sales to provide input on operational implications of complex, non-standard benefits and alternatives while considering the current benefit plans, portfolio and future additions.
Acts as single point of contact between benefit coding, sales/Account Management, case install during the implementation of benefit coding.
Supports sales with external client requests.
Represents Benefit Administration in production related meetings and participates with product management on the developments of new products and designs.
Monitors production inventory and escalates issues to appropriate leads.
Requires a high school diploma; 8+ years of benefit knowledge/coding experience, platform knowledge for FACETS, WGS, NASCO, CS90, ACES, CHIPS and QCARE, including 3+ years of experience in customer service, claims processing in health care or project management; or any combination of education and experience, which would provide an equivalent background. BS/BA preferred. Health Sales License preferred. BA Certification preferred.
