We are looking for a Project Management Team Leader, to be hired with a permanent contract in Milan within the Electrification and Automation area. You will be responsible for the organization and setup of the customer service project management team. The purpose is to ensure an effective and robust project delivery.

The Project Management Team Leader is in charge to manage a pool of project managers, overseeing their deployment to manage our largest and most complex projects. You will be responsible for resource planning and providing ongoing support and blocking issue for the project managers, as well as maintaining oversight of live projects and reporting on performance to senior stakeholders.

Your Challenge

As a Project Management Team Leader , your main activities will be :

  • To Lead the project management team, Set goals that are in line with project requirements and provide the team with the necessary tools to achieve them.

  • Active manage and control the project in terms of time, costs, quality, risks identification and management, change requests, project claims, achieving both project targets and customer satisfaction

  • Execute projects in compliance with laws and regulations, constantly verifying the team capacity and performance, monitoring the projects KPI’s with a consistent approach

  • As a Team Leader: leading, mentoring and developing the team with a “growth mindset”. Inspire your team to grow. Resource Planning and staffing if needed assisting a successful onboarding and training of team members, promote and facilitate communication, Nurture and encourage collaboration

  • Work with departmental heads, managers, and other stakeholders to develop team goals and delegate tasks to the appropriate team member, ensuring that robust project management principles are embedded in key processes

  • Act pursuant to Siemens PM standards and Business Conduct Guidelines (e.g. Tax regulations, Export Control, EHS), perform risks management to minimize and control project risks

  • Build and maintain comprehensive project documentation

To be a perfect fit for this role, you:

  • Technical High School Diploma and/or Engineering University Degree (Electrical or Mechanical background is a plus)

  • proven experience in handling complex projects and leading teams.

  • Mastering project management software tools (MS Excel, MS Project)

  • Great customer intimacy, demonstrated soft skills in Negotiations & Conflictual conversations with customers.

  • Ability to anticipate deviations from plans and timelines, to handle and escalate issues at the right time.

  • Project Management KPI’s such as Profitability and GM improvement.

  • Master forecast of Project Sales & Book to Bill & GM

  • Passion to never-stop growing

  • Respect and appreciation of each person’s uniqueness, willingness to co create and share knowledge

  • Are eligible to work in Italy

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Industrial Relations(IR), local labor laws and regulations

  • Additional languages and work experience abroad
