As a Business Development Manager you will partner with the overall sales department to drive measurable results contributing to the country growth. You’ll identify new business opportunities in order to generate revenue and help the business grow. You’ll be responsible for leading and developing a team of Business Development Representatives to achieve the revenue plan, planning and executing a diverse and large number of campaigns in collaboration with the Sales team and the Regional Marketing Manager. In this role, you will be working closely with the commercial leaders in supporting and executing on sales growth.

In this role, your main job responsibilities will be:

  • Drive impactful on revenue growth coming mostly from New Customers by generating high quality sales ready leads.

  • Lead and support the BD Team, in collaboration with Sales, to decrease lead to booking time for marketing opportunities and increase speed and quality on marketing funnel to improve the lead to order ratio.

  • Plan and follow up on the special marketing campaigns and nurturing campaigns.

  • Coach, support and mentor the associates of the team on individual and team performance expectations and help them to develop their sales and negotiation skills.

  • Research and identify new business opportunities, including growth areas and trends, to improve and refresh the database,

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 5+ years of experience in Telemarketing / Inside Sales related roles in a B2B multinational environment

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent (Administration, Finance, Marketing)

  • Italian speaker (native level) and good command of English

  • Previous experience as people leader in team management

  • Knowledge of Salesforce
