As a Applications System Analyst I, you will, under direction from Application Systems Analyst II or III, analyzes user needs and develop software solutions. Supports the configuration of software or customization of software for client use with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. May analyze and design databases within an application area as part of a team. Responsibilities: Supports the development, creation, and modification of general computer applications software or specialized utility programs. Analyzes user needs and develop software solutions. May analyze and design databases within an application area, working individually or coordinating database development as part of a team. Provides application software development services or technical support typically in a defined project. Develops program logic for new applications or analyzes and modifies logic in existing applications. Codes, tests, debugs, documents, implements and maintains software applications. Carries out work assignments designed to prepare developer for promotion to the next level of application development. Communicates with application vendors to debug, test, and resolve application failures. Participates in systems upgrades, modifications, and reconfigurations. Knowledge - Skills - Abilities Knowledge of computers, electronics, digital media, databases, applications, software development, risk management, and information security. Customer support, systems analysis, troubleshooting, problem solving, and listening skills.
