JOB REQUIREMENTS: Milwaukee School of Engineering (MSOE) invites
applications for a full-time faculty position at the Assistant Professor
level starting in Fall 2025 in the Department of Mechanical Engineering.
The full-time faculty position is open to applicants in Engineering with
expertise in the Thermal Sciences including, but not limited to,
renewable/sustainable energy systems, energy conversion systems, and
high-performance buildings. Research or industry experience in the
aforementioned areas is preferred. The Department of Mechanical
Engineering houses undergraduate programs in Industrial Engineering and
Mechanical Engineering as well as a graduate program in Engineering. The
position requires an earned Doctorate in Mechanical/Aerospace
Engineering (or a related field), relevant experience, and a strong
interest in effective undergraduate teaching while integrating theory
with applications and developing laboratory experiences. Candidates are
expected to have an undergraduate engineering degree from an
ABET-accredited program. In addition to teaching, successful candidates
will be expected to become involved with academic advising, curriculum
development, supervision of student projects, and continued professional
growth through a combination of consulting, scholarship, and research.
