JOB REQUIREMENTS: Summary: Ultra Fabricator has successful experience with part fabrication and can assemble Ultra products with minimal assistance from Ultra Senior Fabricators. This position can successfully execute most stages of Ultra production from reading blueprints, producing material and hardware lists, part fabrication, assembly, final quality inspection and packaging with minimal assistance. Fabricators have displayed positive contributions to the progression of the Ultra organization through positive attitude and continue to progress Team Ultra associates in continuous production improvement, customer service and quality. Based on workload and customer requirements, occasional weekends along with mandatory overtime may be required to successfully fulfill the needs of this position. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. - Plan, layout, and fabricate Ultra products consisting of, but not limited to, staircases, platforms, handrails, ladders, walkovers, and landings - Interpret blueprints and engineered drawings to create structural fiberglass products - Apply knowledge of shop mathematics to mark dimensions for assembling parts and components - Proficient use of squares, levels and measuring devices to parts and components to ensure excellent product quality - Exhibit safe work habits through use of Personal Protective Equipment - Stage, process, prepare, package and transport material through the manufacturing process - Contribute to positive teamwork with Team Ultra associates, customers, and vendors - Perform part fabrication, material handling, shipping and receiving and project management duties as needed. - Assist with general shop duties and provide support to Ultra team as needed to achieve performance goals, excellent service, customer solutions and high quality products - Maintain good work habits to ensure a clean work environment free of clutter and waste - Share complaints, opportunities and associate issues with Operations Managers for investigation, coaching and resolution ***** OTHER EXPERIENCE AND QUALIFICATIONS: Features of the Job: Assignments are typically in the form of specific tasks. Associate has latitude for independent action in setting objectives and deciding how to proceed. An Associate\'s error in judgment could have a significant impact in terms of time, money, or public/employee goodwill. This position requires contacts within the department and with other departments in the Company, as well as with supervisors, managers and executives. The Associate has a high level of responsibility for the equipment and materials used.
