Applicants with a disability who need assistance applying for a position with Associated Bank are asked to email: careers@associatedbank.com Job Summary Under the direction of the Collections Supervisor, contact seriously delinquent loans to assure delinquent loans are collected on a timely basis by working with customers to bring accounts current within department policy and procedure, and maintain department goals while delivering an exceptional customer experience during every interaction. Job Accountabilities Contact delinquent loan customers daily by telephone via the auto-dialer and/or dial directly to resolve delinquency issues. Collect delinquent accounts at department standards for speed and accuracy and at compliance standards. Will also, take incoming calls from account holders or colleagues. Document all conversations, information and changes using the computer terminal to ensure a complete and accurate picture of the reason for delinquency, the agreed upon arrangements and to make sure we are able to contact the customer by phone and mail. Meet department goals for delinquency resolution by contacting and resolving the greatest number of customer issues to reduce bank risk. Decide on action to be taken to resolve delinquency, including recommendations payment plans, Loss Mitigation or Legal Action. Prepare documentation for approval when applicable and submit to appropriate management level. Perform skip tracing using all sources in locating the collateral and customer contact numbers for collection of the account. Submit referrals to the proper departments to resolve issues related to misapplied payments forced place insurance, escrow inquiries, etc. Assist in the training and mentoring of new and existing associates. Show leadership on the floor to all colleagues and support of management team to implement changes.
