Rockwell Automation is looking for a Director to lead our Platform Automation and Developer Experience practice. Rockwell is a leading technology company, building a mix of hardware, software, and services solutions supporting high demand manufacturing customers. The Director will partner with several Development teams in the long-term architecture, provisioning, monitoring, and enrichment of Development Environments, with the ultimate goal of improving the Developer Experience through Platform Automation. You will be customer obsessed and form partnerships with multiple development, infrastructure, security, and operational teams. You will have a background in modern software platforms, understand how to productize platform components, and help Development teams to autonomously consume technology and compute platform level components. You will lead the construction of a democratized, self-service, library of reusable platform components - treating each component as a product and automating the product\'s lifecycle. This is a hands-on position requiring technical skills and the ability to gain the trust/cooperation of other technical teams. You will report to the VP, IT Infrastructure and Operations.
