MAINTENANCE MECHANIC (TRAINEE) 2nd Shift (2pm - 10:30pm) Training will
be on 1st Shift (6:30am - 3pm) for approximately 6 months The
Maintenance Mechanic performs all-around maintenance work on a variety
of systems and pieces of equipment to ensure proper operating functions
of machinery. DESCRIPTION OF ESSENTIAL DUTIES: Ability to provide
maintenance and repair on several types of building systems such as
pipefitting, basic electrical, HVAC, etc. Ability to repair machines and
equipment involving parts replacement and trouble shooting. Perform
preventive maintenance on all assigned equipment. Maintain company
property to include work on buildings and grounds including snow
removal. Comply with all quality, safety, and work rules and
regulations. Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: Preferred education level: a high school
diploma and/or GED. It is desirable for the employee to possess
additional specific related training. Preferred experience level: Less
than a year\'s experience in manufacturing. Excellent communication
skills Computer experience strongly preferred. Willing to work in a team
environment and contribute to group goals. Ability to receive and
provide instructions in a positive manner. Ability to operate a forklift
with forklift driving certification strongly preferred and the ability
to use a pallet jack. Must be detail oriented with the ability to
multi-task. Basic math skills and the ability to convert various
measurements are required. The ability to use the following tools
preferred: grind plate, calculator, computer, pipe wrench, large and
