SULLIVAN SCHEIN Manager Finance Equipment Inventory in MILWAUKEE, Wisconsin

JOB REQUIREMENTS: Description This position is responsible for developing and implementing equipment inventory best practices for Henry Schein Dental, identifying and resolving issues that improves the Company's ability to execute business strategies and plans; creates policies and procedures to improve inventory management control with the primary objectives to minimize equipment inventory costs and improve inventory control. Liaise with other HSI equipment inventory teams, including Canada and Medical. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manages the equipment inventory and liquidation process for the largest business division within the Company. Negotiates with vendors and directs the process to liquidate distressed and other depreciated inventory. Determines when equipment depreciates and collaborates with division units to move equipment through to the outlet center to minimize Company losses. Determines and communicates to field sales team what products need to be highlighted to customers prior to product depreciating. Oversees audits of the equipment centers on a monthly basis to ensure the Company SOP's are being adhered to. Directs, and coordinates Dental year-end physical inventory count processes at all field equipment centers and in-service vans to include audit requirements and address operations issues. Directs and controls the monthly test count inventory processes at all field centers. Leads the Dental Inventory Financial Analyst team with responsibility to hire, train, and develop staff including assignment of goals to align and meet overall department and division objectives for equipment sales and inventory management. Manages a budget of inventory depreciation and adjustments totaling approximately $7MM as well as a budget of inventory levels of approximately $60MM per year. Leads as subject matter expert and project manager for evaluation of information systems and enhancements related to inventory; responsible for overall scope of projects including coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of project ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments and goals. Creates and executes project work plans, identifies resources and oversees all operational aspects including implementation and training system users. Executes and oversees monthly financial inventory close, reviewing and analyzing month end close schedules, budgets vs. actual schedules and prepares R&O schedules.
