We have an exciting opportunity for a Mechanical Engineer in our downtown Milwaukee Corporate Headquarters office.

Being a member of the GRAEF Mechanical Team will provide opportunities to:

    As a member of the GRAEF Mechanical Team, your responsibilities may include:

  • Participate in the design of HVAC and hydronic systems, as well as perform heating and cooling load calculations and energy modeling.

  • Develop project drawings and fully modeled designs utilizing Autodesk Revit.

  • Coordinate between multiple disciplines and attend regular meetings.

  • Perform computer-aided drafting using Revit and design for various projects.

    We are considering candidates who possess the following minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or architectural engineering.

  • Registered as an EIT and if applicable working towards professional registration is preferred.

  • A minimum of 3 years of relevant design experience. Additional experience would be considered a plus.

  • Experience in the design and specification of HVAC systems including central cooling plants, central heating plants, and high-capacity airside equipment.

  • Experience working with HVAC load calculation and energy modeling software.

  • Commissioning experience would be a plus.

  • Proficiency in the following software is preferred: Revit, Bluebeam, Microsoft Office products.

  • Good communication skills and the ability to work independently are crucial.
