ON - SITE. FTE: 1.000000 Shift: 1st Schedule: Looking to train new staff
prior to location opening December 2024. Will train at different sites
within our southern division; workdays and times will be based upon
department needs. Lafayette hours are expected to be Monday - Friday
from 7am - 3:30pm. Saturday rotation 8:00am - 12:00pm at Drexel or
Moorland. This may be subject to change in the future. Job Summary:
Responsible for performing phlebotomy and various technical,
non-technical, and clerical functions. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE: Completion of approved Phlebotomy program including
clinicals with a minimum of 100 drawsOR6 months of related health care
experience including direct patient contact. Phlebotomy experience in a
clinical laboratory/phlebotomy setting, inpatient and/or outpatient
draws is preferred. EDUCATION: High School diploma or equivalent is
preferred. LICENSURE: ASCP certification preferred. SPECIAL SKILLS:
Ability to read and write necessary to comprehend and follow equipment
operating instructions, IFUs and complete required documentation. Basic
arithmetic calculations necessary to count instruments and complete
count sheets are required. Basic computer, problem-solving and good
