JOB REQUIREMENTS: Job Summary: We are seeking a detail-oriented and
organized Receiving Clerk to join our team. The Receiving Clerk will be
responsible for receiving and inspecting goods, verifying deliveries,
and ensuring the accuracy and quality of items delivered to the company.
This role is crucial to maintaining the smooth flow of inventory and
will involve direct interaction with vendors, warehouse staff, and other
departments to ensure efficient operations. Key Responsibilities:
Receiving Shipments: Unload and unpack shipments, ensuring all items are
accounted for. Inspect goods for damage and verify the quantity and
quality of items received against purchase orders, invoices, and
shipping documents. Documentation & Record-Keeping: Record all incoming
shipments in the inventory management system. Maintain accurate and
organized records of received goods, including detailed information on
product condition, quantities, and discrepancies. Inventory Management:
Assist with organizing and storing received goods in the designated
areas. Coordinate with the inventory team to update stock levels and
ensure the correct storage of products. Quality Control: Identify and
report any damaged or defective items to the appropriate department for
resolution. Ensure that received products meet the company\'s standards
for quality and specifications. Vendor Coordination: Communicate with
vendors regarding discrepancies or issues with shipments. Work closely
with purchasing or supply chain teams to resolve any issues related to
delivery delays or incorrect shipments. Safety & Cleanliness: Adhere to
all safety guidelines when handling goods and operating equipment.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment in the receiving area.
