JOB REQUIREMENTS: Mead & Hunt, a nationally recognized professional
services consulting firm, has a position available for a
refrigeration/mechanical startup technician. Responsibilities include
completing startup checklists and commissioning equipment for industrial
equipment (screw compressors, reciprocating compressors, evaporative
condensers, evaporators, pumps and air handling units); diagnosing and
troubleshooting equipment during startup; developing pump down and
tie-in plans; redlining as-built drawings, piping and instrumentation
diagrams (P&IDs), equipment schedules and layout drawings; managing
ARM/PSM documentation; performing mechanical integrity inspections;
reviewing construction drawing for constructability and serviceability.
Travel will be required. The successful candidate will have at least
eight years of relevant experience. The ideal candidate will have
experience with any/all of the following: diagnosing and troubleshooting
equipment issues; completing startup checklists; commissioning
industrial equipment; interpreting construction drawings and
specifications; site construction safety training. The ideal candidate
will also have their CIRO/CARO certification. If you have strong
