JOB REQUIREMENTS: Genesis10 is seeking a Senior Technical Program Manager. This role is with an insurance company based in Senior Technical Program Manager. The contract duration is 9+ months. Responsibilities: Accountable for project management of a larger initiative/project with medium complexity Define and manage scope, schedule, cost, and quality, including monitoring day-to-day progress, execution, management, and closure within the approved scope, schedule, and cost Measure project performance using appropriate tools and techniques that are compliant with company-approved methodologies and tool sets to help with the successful completion of short and long-term goals Requirements: Bachelor\'s degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience 5+ years of professional experience 3+ years of experience working with websites and mobile applications in a delivery setting 2+ years of project management experience in technology and/or business functions Experience with project management methodologies or SDLC (systems development life cycle) Working knowledge of project management / agile tooling Understand how software is developed, tested, and implemented, as well as technical concepts Ability to work closely with engineers, product managers, and business leaders Experience managing large-scale, cross-functional initiatives using a variety of delivery methodologies (i.e., waterfall, agile, lean, scrum, etc.) Intellectual curiosity and a desire to dig into details, learn, ask questions, and become the \"go to expert \" on certain concepts and topics Leads projects with notable risk and complexity; develops the strategy for project execution Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective on existing solutions; exercises judgment based on the analysis of multiple sources of information Impacts the direction and resource allocation for programs, projects, or services; works within general department policies and industry guidelines Explains information, conveys performance expectations, and handles sensitive issues Compensation: Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
