Assistant. This position will be expected to perform a wide variety of
duties to support the warehouse needs of the company. Essential
Duties/Responsibilities Ensure all shipping documents are created and
maintained accurately. This includes BOLs, hold tags, SLI and other
international shipment documents. Responsible for order entry,
follow-up, status, and other daily communication with customers in
coordination with customer service and other staff. Interact with
customers as needed to clarify or communicate discrepancies and
schedules. Inspect and record incoming and outgoing orders for count,
damage, dates, etc. Schedule truck shipments, UPS, and FedEx as needed.
Maintain shipping and receiving area as needed. Other responsibilities
include monitoring and replying to emails in a timely manner, scanning
and filing paperwork, printing orders for the next day, and
communicating issues to the appropriate department / or supervisor.
