We have a great opportunity for someone well versed in interfacing, security, Internet protocols and server and network infrastructure. This Network Engineer role is a full-time employment opportunity located in the Minneapolis, Minnesota area.
How you will make an impact
Manage a secure transfer of data to multiple locations by way of internal and external networks
Deliver high-level support and technical expertise in networking technology like hardware, hubs, bridges and routers
Engineer enterprise data, voice, and video networks by using traditional and creative methods
Work alongside vendors, clients, carriers and technical staff on the implementation, optimization and ongoing management of networks
Set up and manage network test facilities Requirements - Earlier work involving ethernet
WANs (Wide Area Network) experience highly desired
General familiarity with Cisco VPN
Solid understanding of Cisco Firewall
Practical knowledge of Data Center Infrastructure
Wide ranging experience with MPLS
Border Gateway Protocol (BGP) experience
Quality experience with Security Infrastructure
Cisco Routers experience required
Proven knowledge of LAN (local area networks)
Eigrp experience preferred
Well-founded grasp of Cisco ASA
5+ years networking experience
Preferred skills include an understanding of networking such as switching and routing
