About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Credit Risk Officer.
In this role, you will:
Lead complex initiatives including those that are cross-functional with broad impact and act as key participant in driving the company credit culture, desire, and business performance for Credit Risk
Review and analyze complex strategies, programs and policies with a direct and significant impact on credit risk appetite and culture
Receive direction from leaders
Exercise independent judgment while developing the knowledge to understand function, policies, procedures, and compliance requirements
Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues and managers to resolve issues and achieve goals
Interact with internal and external customers
Collaborate with business for oversight of risk management
Interact with Audit, Legal, external agencies, and regulatory bodies on risk related topics
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Credit Risk experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications:
3+ years of strong programing skills in Python/SAS/SQL with hands on experience handling large datasets
3+ year of statistical analysis and good understanding of Machine Learning techniques
Experience in managing originations/account management decision engine strategies
Lead complex initiatives impacting credit strategies across the customer lifecycle from acquisitions to collections
Good understanding on P&L drivers for credit card/other unsecured lending products
Knowledge and understanding of databases and data mining techniques
Self-motivated with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Job Expectations:
Ability to work at one of the approved locations in the job posting
Willingness to comply with our hybrid work model; working from a Wells Fargo facility at least three days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days a week.

Pay Range
Reflected is the base pay range offered for this position. Pay may vary depending on factors including but not limited to achievements, skills, experience, or work location. The range listed is just one component of the compensation package offered to candidates.
$111,100.00 - $217,200.00
