Honeywell Lead Manufacturing Tech - 1st shift in Minneapolis, Minnesota

As a Lead Manufacturing Technician here at Honeywell, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and coordinating manufacturing operations to ensure efficient production and adherence to quality standards. You will lead a team of technicians and collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet production goals and deliver high-quality products to our customers. You will report directly to our Quality Engineering & Support Operations Manager, and will work on site at our Minneapolis, MN location. In this role, you will impact the success of our quality operations by providing leadership and technical expertise to ensure smooth production processes and timely delivery of products.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead or collaborate with a team of technicians to provide guidance and support to ensure smooth production processes

  • Conduct quality inspections and audits to ensure compliance with standards

  • Implement corrective actions to address quality issues

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to meet production goals

  • Support the delivery of high-quality products

U.S. PERSON REQUIREMENTS

Due to compliance with U.S. export control laws and regulations, candidate must be a U.S. Citizen.

YOU MUST HAVE

  • High School Diploma or GED

  • 5 years of experience in manufacturing operations, of which 3 years in a Quality Technician or related role

  • 3 years reading and interpreting technical work instructions

  • 1 year experience in dimensional identification and part measurement

  • 1 year experience supporting/participating in an AS9100/ISO9001

  • Associate degree in a technical discipline or equivalent experience

  • Experience in the aerospace industry standards

  • Experience with AS9100/ISO9001

  • Six Sigma or Lean Manufacturing certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
