HIRED MFIP Program Director in Minneapolis, Minnesota

POSITION DESCRIPTION This position is a member of Hired s Senior Leadership team and is responsible for strategic, visionary, and all aspects of operational leadership for Hired s MFIP Programs. This Director position is responsible for MFIP services across the Twin Cities, in both Hennepin and Ramsey Counties and leads six direct reports, with an indirect team of 35-45 and a financial portfolio of approximately $5 million. We are seeking an innovative and forward-thinking leader to continue to transform our work into a catalyst for change and upward economic mobility. Your Role: Lead a philosophical shift in how MFIP services are delivered - from a compliance-driven model to a strengths-based, supportive coaching approach. Reimagine MFIP as a springboard to economic self-sufficiency through access to education, training, entrepreneurship, and wealth-building opportunities. Engage government and community leaders collaboratively on issues of policy and practice to improve outcomes for marginalized communities. Navigate complex policy and budgetary environments effectively. Address systemic barriers and cultural biases that perpetuate poverty and marginalization. Continue to grow a holistic, two-generation approach supporting whole families. Build an ecosystem of strategic cross-sector projects and partnerships to broaden support and provide wrap-around services. Elevate participant voice in program design through human-centered, collaborative processes. Cultivate an organizational culture centered on dignity, equity, inclusion and continuous learning.
