Responsibilities * Work with Senior Engineer to develop all aspects of building design: conceptualize initial structural system, design development, construction drawings and specifications, and construction administration. * Work with Structural Technician to develop concise and accurate Revit design models and construction drawings. * Work collaboratively with other engineers and technicians in the firm to develop building designs. * Specific tasks include code analysis and load calculations; computer-based building modeling; piece and system design; plan, section, and detail development. * Coordinate technical activities and designs with personnel in other disciplines and departments within the local office and/or other corporate location. * Present designs to clients, working within an interdisciplinary team. * Assist with other duties assigned by supervisor.
