A Day in the Life

Make a direct impact on patients lives as aTechnical Service Specialist.You will consult with health care professionals, Medtronic field personnel and patients in our Cardiovascular Diagnostics portfolio of products and applications, with a focus on products for patients requiring treatments to treat arteries, veins, and structural defects of the heart. You will join a team of product and therapy experts, who put patient safety first and deliver exceptional experiences at every interaction.

You will consult directly with customers, patients, and Medtronic field personnel, primarily via phone, as well as email and other methods of communication.

Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.

  • Provide troubleshooting, support and education for cardiovascular diagnostics services products that is accurate, thorough, timely and tailored to meet the customers needs.

  • Gather relevant information, document and report customer inquiries, issues and product problems per procedures and policies.

  • Maintain deep product and therapy knowledge and expertise through continuous training, coaching, and independent study.

  • Research issues and keep current on new products, systems, techniques, and indications for devices using Medtronic and industry publications

  • Actively participate, communicate and maintain team and cross-functional networks

  • Maintain adherence to schedule and availability for support of incoming contacts

  • Utilize technology and systems required to support job function, answering phones and operating personal computer six to eight hours per day.

Must Have: Minimum Requirements

  • Bachelors degree required

  • 0 years of experience required

Nice to Have

  • Previous experience supporting Medtronic Cardiovascular devices

  • Clinical, field or similar experiences supporting customers and/or clinical use of cardiovascular products, specifically implantable cardiac monitors, programmers remote monitoring applications.

  • Strong product, therapy and cardiovascular system knowledge

  • Demonstrated customer service experience and skills

  • Analytical and problem solving

  • Experience working in a regulated environment

  • Experience with contact center technology: Verint, Cisco, Five9, ServiceNow, Microsoft Office Suite
