Job Title: Machine Operator

Job Description

We are looking for Machine Operators to join our growing team in Miramar, FL ! In this role you will follow Batch Records instructions, Monitor equipment operation , preform inspections and make necessary adjustments needed. You will also be responsible for machine changeovers, product counts, and completing all required documentation as per SOPs. Responsibilities

  • Follow Batch Record instructions specifying materials, components, labeling, and processing parameters.

  • Monitor the operation of equipment, processing parameters, and product quality.

  • Adjust operations based on inspection, monitoring activities, and feedback from downstream staff and On-Line QC.

  • Clear machine jams, troubleshoot minor production problems, and make minor adjustments.

  • Perform changeovers on machines in preparation for new products.

  • Initiate Line Clearance and/or Cleaning Procedures, confirm completion, and record line clearances and equipment cleaning.

  • Disassemble, wash, rinse, and reassemble equipment during full changeovers.

Essential Skills

  • Proficiency in machine operation and setup.

  • Experience with packaging and filling machines.

  • Ability to troubleshoot basic/minor issues.

  • Experience in the pharmaceutical industry.

  • Ability to perform changeovers and work in a cleanroom environment.

  • Strong English communication, writing, and reading skills.

  • Basic math skills including adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.

  • Ability to attend GMP training during the first week (M-F, 8-5pm).

  • Preferred: Bilingual.

  • Preferred: 2-year associate degree in Math, Science, Technical, or Engineering discipline.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $21.50 - $21.50/hr.
