BELLCO, now part of Medtronic in the Renal Care business, is a company, based in Mirandola (Modena ITALY), leader in systems for hemodialysis and extracorporeal blood purification. Our therapies and systems are employed for the treatment of renal failure, multiple organ failure, sepsis and cardiac decompensation. We are focused on satisfying the needs of patients and experts through: Innovation, Reasearch, Development of advanced Nephrology, Intensive Care and Cardiology Therapies.
The RD Engineer II will formulates, delivers and/or manages projects assigned and works with other stakeholders to achieve desired results. The majority of time is spent delivering RD, systems or initiatives related to new technologies or therapies from design to implementation - while adhering to policies, using specialized knowledge and skills.
A Day in the Life
Responsibilities may include the following and other duties may be assigned.
Design of components and finished products;
Support and management for creation of drawings and bill of materials for components and finished products;
Definition and implementation of functional physical tests of the products under development;
Drafting of the product technical documentation;
Assistance to Production in the development of new projects or sustaining of products already on the market
Participation in activities related to change control and investigation of complaints
May be involved in product research and development and/or clinical trials.
Translates research discoveries into usable and marketable products
Bachelors degree (BS) or Masters degree (MS) in Biomedical, Mechanical Engineering or relevant discipline from an accredited university.
Three or more years of relevant experience to related position
Product Life Cycle system and Design Control knowledge
Team working attitude
Project Leading skills
Excellent English command
