Description:
Manufacturer in the South Bend-Mishawaka area is searching for a CNC Machinist on 1st shift.
Hours: 1st shift: 7:00AM to 3:30PM (flexible with start times, some people come in as early as 4AM to get out earlier) -- Ability to get 50 to 55 hours per week with optional Saturdays -- Anything after 50 hours is double-time pay
Pay: $25/hr
Job Duties: - Setting up and machining steel components on CNC Mills or Lathes -- i.e. Vertical/horizontal boring mill, CNC Lathe (single-turret/single-spindle), etc. - Reading in-depth blueprints to obtain correct tooling, setting jaws, identifying true position, etc. - Setting up various operations for one part - Holding tolerances of +/-.001 - Using various quality instruments to ensure parts meet client specs
