Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assembles product using mechanical blueprints, operator instruction worksheets, and/or verbal order
Identifies, inventories and obtains material for operations to be performed
Fastens parts together with screws, clamps, nuts, industrial glue, or other components with or without tools
Employee will learn to bend and installs conduit/pipe for conveyor installation
Removes materials with or without tools
Possesses personal hand tools and toolbox according to the employee handbook
Performs safety and housekeeping duties
Participates in required training and applies safety skills/knowledge
Utilizes measuring, gauging and other quality tools as required
Accurately completes required documentation
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned by Installation Manager or Installation Coordinator
Essential Skills and Abilities
Demonstrates familiarity with material handling systems design (or equivalent) preferred but not required
Demonstrates proficiency in reading tape measures and other measuring devices
Demonstrates proficiency in basic mathematics (fractions, decimals, conversions, etc.)
Possesses and applies skill and ability to use hand electric/pneumatic tools
Ability to read mechanical blueprints a plus
Possesses and applies knowledge of basic mechanical skills in various operations
Knowledge of basic electrical concepts/simple wiring a plus
Knowledge of basic plumbing/flexible air lines/bending conduit a plus
Demonstrates willingness to work long hours and travel
Demonstrates ability to work well with others
Demonstrates willingness to learn with on-the-job training provided
Possesses valid driver’s license (not required but a plus)
Physical Demands and Work Environment
This position requires extensive travel throughout the United States.
This position will require the following: walking, sitting, kneeling, using hands and fingers to handle or feel objects/tools/controls, using vibratory tools, reaching with hands and arms, balancing, stooping, talking and hearing.
Due to contact with customers, this person must maintain professional appearance and good hygiene.
Pay Details: $17.00 to $18.00 per week
