Sourcing Lead Indirect Procurement

We are now looking for a Sourcing Lead to join our EMEA team. In this role you will have the opportunity to influence on our way forward and being part of setting our structure. You will be part of a global team where we support each other and work together to reach our goals.

We are looking for someone to support multiple Indirect categories/projects. You will work towards different regions and will work cross functionally with many different contact settings. In this role you will partners with regional and global category management to ensure a successful implementation of global or regional led strategies and drive compliance to preferred supply base and purchasing channels. The role is responsible to ensure and continuously improve costs, quality and service level / delivery for all local deliverables in multiple categories.

Responsibilities:

  • Support the implementation of global and regional category strategies.

  • Support regional/global RFPs.

  • To partner with relevant stakeholders.

  • To cooperate and support internal stakeholders at projects.

  • To execute design to cost opportunities across all sites, ensuring working capital efficiency.

  • Guide and support the tactical buying for Indirect Materials & Services.

  • Ensure that Indirect materials and services are delivered in-time.

  • Collaborate with COE team to implement the Procurement processes & compliance requirements across the sites.

  • Supplier Relationship Management.

  • To perform negotiations with suppliers and sign contracts.

  • To support annual procurement targets for the site in alignment with global/regional targets (cost & savings, supplier quality, etc.).

  • Support Regional Sourcing Leaders with regular updates to ensure effective communication of cost saving activities.

  • Proactively identify saving potentials.

Requirements and qualification:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in a related discipline.

  • A minimum of 2-3 years professional experience in strategic purchasing.

  • Strong relationship building and leading by influence skills.

  • Experience from identify and lead cost improvement initiatives will be a merit.

  • Strong business partnering skills and business acumen.

  • Assertiveness and ambition to solve demanding tasks.

  • English fluent in written and spoken. Other languages welcomed.
