About the Role:
As a CBRE CAD Designer, you will assist the team with designing and preparing basic electronic working plans, maps, and drawings for projects.
This job is part of the Design function. They are responsible for preparing and producing proposals and planning applications for internal and external partners.
What You’ll Do:
Prepare prints of various original plans and records for internal and external agency use. Update various drawings as changes are made, utilizing computer-aided drafting techniques.
Gather data to complete drawings by visiting the site directly. Conduct surveys of space and prepare reports.
Verify the development of maps and drawings that are spatially accurate and technically correct.
Work with internal and external partners to obtain details of projects, including equipment, materials, and codes.
Collect on-site information and store it electronically to maintain current building conditions and data.
Use existing procedures to solve straightforward problems while having a limited opportunity to exercise discretion.
Impact through clearly defined duties, methods, and tasks are described in detail.
Deliver own output by following defined procedures and processes under close supervision and guidance.
What You’ll Need:
High School Diploma or GED with up to 2 years of job-related experience.
Ability to follow basic work routines and standards in the application of work.
Communication skills to exchange straightforward information.
Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products. Examples include Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
Strong organizational skills with an inquisitive mindset.
Ability to calculate simple figures such as percentages, discounts, and markups.
