Core Responsibilities

As a Senior Specialist, you will be delivering a consistent service to all the customers of our AMS shared service center. This means to meet the customers’ expectations and provide them with the best service, incorporating the LEGO® values. Your responsibilities would be as follows:

  • Admin of Background checks system accesses.

  • LBR wellness reimbursements - Employee can purchase somethings, send receipt, and we reimburse them through payroll.

  • Processing of the quarterly bonus calculations for LBR –To run the roster and depending on tenure in the job (based on clear rules), selects the entitled employees. LBR provides numbers, then this position combines eligibility and store matrix and determines the % of bonus and inputs to Payroll.

  • Creating offer letters for employees receiving promotions or otherwise changing jobs outside of a recruitment process. The offer letter has variances depending on the circumstance.

  • Pension enrollment and other transactional Benefit handling.

Administer employee leave of absence and accommodation requests:

  • Coordinate with our external leave administrator (NY Life) to document, assess and communicate decisions related to leaves of absence and accommodation requests.

  • Collaborate with people leaders and employees to help employees perform essential job functions.

  • Collaborate with internal partners (People, Places and Culture; Legal; etc.) on cases that need additional consultation.

Administer benefit plans, billings, and systems:

  • Audit and update data feeds to benefit carriers.

  • Process weekly claim wires.

  • Process bills related to benefit plans.

  • Collaborate closely with Payroll and other internal partners to ensure data integrity and consistent processes.

  • Active collaboration in transition of new tasks into the team, documenting and mapping the processes.

The LEGO Business Service Operations (BSO) is a shared service center that delivers HR and Finance services to the entire LEGO Group from 3 locations: Monterrey, Kladno and Singapore. The purpose of the BSO is to create an effective and efficient platform for growth to support our strategy and reach twice as many kids over the next 5-7 years. Do you have what it takes?

  • Excellent communication skills, to be able to serve as the liaison between employees, leaders, and our external leave provider.

  • Strong organizational skills to be able to track and audit leave cases.

  • Strong skills analyzing and solving process problems and able to challenge the status quo of the processes.

  • Excellent judgement to know when to make the determination on your own using a set of established guidelines, and when to involve other partners.

  • Fluent English level.

  • Strong skills handling data spreadsheets with big volumes of information as part of some benefits calculations.

  • Solid sense of leadership and being a role model of quality in the performance of tasks
