Role and Responsibilities

Digital Trust and governance specialist

Your mission

Reporting to the Head of digital trust and governance, the incumbent is responsible to develop and implement various standards, processes, controls and metrics in the areas of cybersecurity governance, risk and compliance.

They will act as a spokesperson and expert on the subject.

Your main role and responsibilities

  • Improve cybersecurity risk management process by enforcing risk reporting and escalation to risk owners.

  • Enhanced corporate cybersecurity governance by developing and report Key Risk Indicators (KRIs) to be presented at the Cybersecurity Risk Management Committee and Cybersecurity Steering Committee.

  • Act as spokesperson and expert in information security, risks management and compliance to support all business units before and during their projects.

  • Collaborate with different IT teams, Corporate Security and Internal Audit teams to ensure CAE standards and guidelines are respected.

  • Participate in compliance initiatives aligned with know frameworks such as: ISO 27001, SOC2 and NIST.

  • Develop a trusted advisor relationship with his/her client(s) and maintain awareness of trends in security regulatory, technology, and operational requirements and share knowledge and industry information with client(s).

  • Identify issues and investigate how CAE can solve their issues either through creating or modifying processes.

  • Maintenance and management of security documentation, including security policies and standards.

  • Perform risk assessments on systems or selected applications.

Your qualifications

  • Five (5) years’ experience in IT security

  • In-depth knowledge and experience in IT Security.

  • In-depth knowledge of risk analysis methodologies and security standards (e.g. ISO, PCI, NIST).

  • The following certifications are an asset: ITIL, CISSP, CISM and CISA.

  • Aerospace industry knowledge would be considered an asset.

  • This person will show initiative, leadership, customer orientation, sense of collaboration (teamwork), interpersonal skills, ability to influence, compliance with commitments, results Orientation.

  • Bilingualism (French and English) is required.
