About The Career:
The Nurse Supervisor functions as a leader in the health care team and is responsible for coordination of the health care team in the Family Center. Assumes responsibility for the coordination of both clinical and Supervisorial duties by maintaining a suitable environment for nursing practice and patient care; assisting staff with ethical, legal and patient/family advocacy issues; demonstrating knowledge and clinical expertise and aiding staff to develop the same; and collaborating with the Director of the Family Center to develop and implement policies, procedures and systems that support the clinical practice of nursing. Holds nursing staff accountable for performing and delivering patient care that is consistent with the organization's Mission, Vision, and Values as well as the organization's strategic plan. The Nurse Supervisor participates in unit performance improvement activities as well as promotes the concept and image of a professional nursing practice.
All About You :
Education: Graduated from an accredited nursing program with a registered nurse degree and a current Colorado license
Training & Experience: Extensive experience in nursing; BLS required upon hire.
Job Knowledge: Encompasses a wide range of nursing, psycho-social and medical information which includes nursing process, communications and problem-solving, assessment and prioritizing skills.
