POSITION: Network Operations Center Intern
This position under general supervision will undertake a variety of assignments and projects to support Elevate's NOSA activities. This position requires strong oral and written communication, excellent organizational skills, and attention to detail.
DUTIES: * Learn and develop professional skills in a business environment. * Organize, refurbish, test, and inventory various physical network equipment. * Assist the NOSA Team in coordinating with the Customer Service Team with equipment upgrade projects. * Assist the Network Engineering department with installation of Comm Shack equipment. * Shadow NOSAs as needed to learn the skills required to assist in general technical support. * Aid in special projects with the Network Operations Supervisor.
REQUIREMENTS: * Must be actively enrolled in high school or in an accredited degree or certificate program. * Must be 16 years of age or older. * Basic understanding of networking concepts. * Proficiency using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). * Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
PREFERREDSKILLS: * Must have a valid driver's license
WAGE: $15.00/ Hour
BENEFITS: Full benefit package including medical, dental, vision, PTO, STD/LTD, life insurance, and 401k retirement. Retirement includes 8% base salary contribution and additional 4.5% match
SHIFTS: Full-time - 40 hours per week
