Site Director for Before and After School Program within Bear Creek Elementary
School
-Pay Range: $23-$27 per hour depending on experience
-30 hours a week - Full-Time Position
-Hours are Split Shift, Mon-Fri. 6:00 - 9:00am and 3:00pm-6:00pm

This position is both administrative and hands-on with 80% of your time
spent in program engaging directly with the children. Work hours are to be 30
hours a week (approximately 3 hours in the morning and 3 hours in the
afternoon), which we classify as full-time. This qualifies you for, sick

We are beginning to screen and interview candidates for the upcoming 2024 -
2025 school year. Training for this role will begin in mid-July.
The Site Director's responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
-Supervise teachers and other employees by ensuring your program is running to
standard
-Ensuring administrative functions are current to include state
licensing-related
materials
-Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a customer service
focus
-Meet with school administration to ensure your program is running efficiently
-Ensuring state ratios are adhered to and are based on student attendance
-Communication with parents and families consistently
-Exceptional classroom instruction and management skills
-Ability to make adjustments to activities/labs to be inclusive to all
students
-Be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
-Highly detail-oriented and organized in work
-Demonstrated leadership experience
-Onboard and train new employees
-Ability to meet assigned deadlines
-Perform other duties as assigned
Position Requirements:
-Required Education: Associate in a related degree in education or childhood
development and 6 month (910 hours) of verifiable experience
-Minimum Age Qualification: 21 years
-Reports to Area Director/Program Director
-Required: Must meet and maintain state-specific licensing requirements listed
below:
-Program director must have completed at least one of the following -
qualifications:
a. A four (4) year college degree with a major such as recreation,
outdoor education, education with a specialty in art, elementary or early
childhood education, or a subject in the human service field
b. Two years of college training and six (6) months (910 hours) of
satisfactory and verifiable full-time or equivalent part-time, paid or
volunteer, experience, since attaining the age of eighteen (18), in
the care and supervision of four (4) or more children; or
c. Three years (5460 hours) of satisfactory and verifiable full-time or
equivalent part-time, paid or volunteer, experience and one of the
following qualifications: Complete six semester hours, or nine quarter
hours in course work from a regionally accredited college or university
