As a digital content intern you will work closely with our Digital Operations Team and contribute to the editing and updating of engaging content within the health care sector. Your primary responsibilities will include:
Update Content:
Contribute to the development and editing of informative content for various digital platforms, including website, events and online location listings
Assist the digital operations team with edits and enhancements to the atlantichealth.org website using our content management system (Adobe Experience Manager)
Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure content aligns with brand guidelines and messaging strategies
Collaborate with the digital marketing team on Search Engine Optimization
Photoshop Editing:
Utilize Photoshop for image optimization, cropping, and other graphic design tasks to support marketing campaigns
Collaboration:
Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to improve digital operation strategies and site enhancements
Collaborate with team on Search Engine Optimization
Conduct analytics analysis and internal site audits
Gather data and convert to Excel
Currently pursuing a degree in Marketing, English, Communications or a related field
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Detail-oriented, organized, proactive and able to manage multiple projects at a time and be able to prioritize effectively
Basic understanding of healthcare industry trends (preferred but not required)
Qualifications
Applicants must be currently enrolled in a full-time accredited public or private College/University. Ideally with a degree in marketing, communication, English or related field. Undergraduates and graduate program candidates may apply.
Be in good academic standing
US Citizen or permanent resident
Work 37.5 hours per week and commit to a minimum of 375 hours for the duration of the internship
Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
Experience with website content management (WordPress, Adobe Experience Manager etc.)
Experience in Photoshop and other graphic design tools for resizing images a plus
Experience in Adobe Creative Suite a plus
Search engine optimization experience a plus
